Fuseji

Mask confidential documents before they reach AI.

Fuseji is a macOS app that finds names, companies, addresses and account numbers in confidential documents such as contracts, and replaces them with placeholders. Everything happens inside your Mac. No document is ever sent anywhere.

Public beta. Free while in beta.

Why Fuseji

Documents stay on your Mac

A local AI on your Mac performs the anonymisation. Nothing goes to an external AI service, cloud or analytics provider. No usage data, no crash reports. The only time Fuseji reaches the network is when it downloads the AI model, during first-run setup or when the model is fetched again.

Built for legal documents

Party names in contracts, names in signature blocks, defined short forms such as "hereinafter X", account and case numbers — Fuseji is built around the patterns that appear in contracts and legal records. The same person or company becomes the same placeholder throughout the document, so the relationships in the text remain readable after masking.

It tells you what it might have missed

Machine detection has limits. Fuseji runs a two-stage check and flags the places where something may still be exposed. A person makes the final call — the screen is built on that assumption.

How it works

  1. Paste text, or drag in a file (txt / md / docx / PDF with selectable text)
  2. The local AI finds proper nouns, contact details and account numbers, and replaces them with placeholders such as [人名1] or [法人名2]
  3. Review the masked text and the replacement table. Additions, merges and "do not mask" instructions are collected and applied together with Update
  4. Check the result, then copy it or save it as a text file. Output is blocked while unapplied changes or unreviewed warnings remain

Before handing anything to an external AI service, check for yourself that no real names or confidential details remain. Keep the original document in your own hands.
